We went to the Candlelight nights at the Conservatory and then walked back to the community garden campus to see Santa and his reindeer.  It was so refreshing to take a brisk evening walk, I'm already starting to get a little cabin fever with all of this cold weather!

We went to St. Mary's in German Village to pick out our tree this year.  I really wanted to go to a cut your own place but we didn't feel like traveling 40 minutes outside of town to get there.   We've gone to St. Mary's a couple of times before to get our tree and have always gotten the most beautiful ones.

I met Erin when my husband Brad started designing a website for her services, Le Pooch Dog Walking.  Through that she has now started walking out dog, Harvey, once a week (he's kind of crazy!) and she wanted me to take some photos of her with her own dogs to put on her site. This is Brad in the crawl space under our bathroom.  He has spent a ton of his day under there sealing up holes so that our bathroom is warmer than 55 degrees this winter.  I am so proud of all the work he has done on this house.   Everything from wiring electricity to running plumbing to repairing the roof, I've got a regular handyman husband:)

We were driving home from Zanesville last night and as soon as we got to Columbus the storms broke up giving way to the strangest, most beautiful sunset I've seen in a long time.  Everything was bathed in a crazy golden tint that made it look like a post-apocalyptic movie.  And oh yea, there was a double rainbow.  Good job Ohio weather!

Laundry has been taking a back burner lately....ughhhhhhh. Also, the dining room window is hilarious in this picture.  One window is missing a curtain completely, the other has the new curtain, and the third the old curtain.  We were in the process of getting projects done all week in anticipation for Theo's 1st birthday party!

Emily & David's wedding was full of great energy, lots of loving family & enthusiastic friends.  I think that's a recipe for wedding success. Nearly forgot about the photo today.  I was 5 seconds away from sweet sleep when I remembered it so I lumbered back downstairs and took a photo of the only thing that had light, our front door (it has a weird diamond window and transom over the top).  Some days I can't believe how hard it is for me to remember this photo, especially since I take pictures for a living!

Some days I can't believe how many things I get done.  I used to be pretty lazy before having Theo, but now I have to watch an active 11 month old, make meals, clean dishes, edit photos & stain floors in a day.  The past few weeks we have had a constant stream of house projects going.  It's awesome because more rooms become usable, horrible because the house is in a constant state of disorder

I can't believe how fabulous this Sunday was.  Woke up with a hankerin' for a bagel so we finally tried Block's Bagels on E. Broad.   The everything bagel with veggie cream cheese was mighty delicious and I see many more Block's trips in our future.   We ventured to Pataskala to pick apples at Lynd's Fruit Farm with my dad then rounded out the evening with dinner at Buca di Beppo with my in-laws
