Kelsey & Karli | Senior Sneak Peek

Kelsey & Karli are two of my senior reps this year...and they're twins!

Unfortunately most of our senior session the other night in the Short North got rained out so we are planning another one in German Village next week.

I just had to post this one shot from our first session because I loved it so much.

Can't wait for the rest of the shoot!

Phil & Lisa | 07.18.09

Lisa & Phil planned a low-key backyard wedding in Worthington. Luckily we dodged rainstorms that afternoon and it turned out to be a great day!

It was such a romantic and beautiful wedding. Lisa & Phil are so great together and so in love. It was a privilege to capture their day. I love getting to know these couples through capturing their wedding day.

Thank you Phil & Lisa!

Josh | Senior 2010

My husband and I have known Josh and his family for a while, they went to the same church we did and we were volunteers in the high school youth group.

I was so happy Josh agreed to be one of my senior representatives for this year.

Armed with his guitar we stepped out to an abandoned building on the West side of Columbus. I love the shots we got there.

He was willing to go along with my crazy ideas for posing and even came up with a few on his own. It's great when that happens:)

Thanks again Josh!

Deanna & Shawn | 07.10.09

Can't tell you how much I loved this wedding! First off it was held in such a great location, the Pinnacle golf course in Grove City. I'm somewhat familiar with Grove City, but had no idea this place existed. It's absolutely gorgeous and was a perfect place for an outdoor ceremony.

Deanna & Shawn (and bridal party) were soooo much fun to work with. They kept me laughing the entire time and made it very easy for me to get a lot of really fun and creative pictures (and they say they're not creative ;-))

They had a beautiful cake (that almost melted away!), beautiful flowers & of course Deanna had a beautiful and handmade wedding dress.

Thank you guys so much for letting me be a part of your day.

The boys...it was hard to get a serious shot of these guys:)

Becca | Senior 2010

Becca was my first senior for 2010! She is one of my school representatives so hopefully she will bring me a lot of business this year:)

It was a family affair for her shoot at Franklin Park, her dad, sister & dog Tanzy came along for moral support (and to help hold the clothes:))

I loved this shoot. I barely had to direct Becca at all, she was super easy to work with.

One of the reasons I love shooting seniors so much is getting to know them during the shoot. They have so many things going on at this point in their life and I love to find out what they want to do after high school. Becca has big plans for zoology in the future. She is super involved in a lot of activities and even had a job at the zoo.

Thanks Becca for agreeing to be one of my representatives!

The W Family

I'm so glad that I was able to do this family shoot last week. I shot Amanda & Ben's wedding last October and they welcomed twin boys this past winter.

They wanted me to take some shots of them in Schiller Park with their 5 month old boys. I was glad to meet the little guys and quickly realized that they have very different personalities.

The boys were troopers even though it was 90+ degrees out. We got about 30 minutes of good shooting in before any meltdowns:)

Thanks W family!
